Overview

Bookbond is a closed beta reading group app. We collect only the information needed to create accounts, manage groups, send invite emails, and keep the service working.

Information we collect

• Email address
• Display name and avatar
• Waitlist application details
• Group membership and invite code use
• Bookmarks, comments, reactions, and reading progress

How we use information

• Create and authenticate accounts
• Send invite and password reset emails
• Let groups share bookmarks and comments
• Track reading progress inside a group
• Manage the tester waitlist

Sharing and storage

Your data is stored with the services we use to run the app and email flows. We do not sell personal data. Some operational logs and backups may be retained for reliability and security.

Retention

Waitlist emails are kept until a tester invite is sent or you ask us to remove them. Account data and group content are kept while the account is active or until you request deletion, unless we need to retain specific records for legal or security reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also withdraw consent for the waitlist by asking us to remove your email address.
